Guarana: Paullina Cupana.

From the "Sapindacea" family, it’s seed’s grow on lianas and has small yellow flowers. It grows in the Amazon and in Venezuela. The seeds look like little red white eyes when they appear. Once mature they look like chestnuts, we take of the skin and than we mould them before they dry out. The Indians have a real "cult" and say that it has magical powers. They drink it like we drink coffee or thee. It’s intensively used in eco drugs.

• Active elements: Guarana, Caffeine – Tanine, Saponinen.
• Effect: Much like coffee, a bit softer, but the effect last longer (3 to 4 hours) helps to concentrate, perfect for long drives, to brighten Monday mornings. It is also used in sports.
• Use: The powder doest not dissolve easily, best to put bit of water in a cup, stir up and ad hot milk, (with chocolate) also in milk-shake, one spoonful a day is enough.
• Side Effects: Non if taken in reasonable dose’s, than it stimulates appetite and digestion.
